Lights...Camera....CLICK!

Alright!
First post. Here we go. Welcome, one and all to my life through photography. As well as this being a blog for my business Heather Michelle Photography, it is also a picture memento of what's going on in my life.
Fun right?!

Well, it's that time of year when the tree gets decorated, weird porcelain elves appear through out the house, and somehow it smells like a Utopia of Frasier furs even though your mom bought a fake tree. Yes..It is Christmas. Tensions are high, wallets are tight,  and shopping carts are full of Christmas spirit.
Ready for Christmas? I know I am.

I am a Christmas-A-Holic and yes, that is now permanently in the dictionary for all those grammar Nazis. I am that crazy lady who will jump for joy at the sound of Christmas music playing ANYWHERE! So, if you see someone singing in stores, restaurants, or any other form of public place.. you have officially spotted me.

Along with this post, I am going to put pictures of HOLIDAY SPIRIT!! Yay...
My mother is the best decorator that I know! Ladies ask her to decorate their homes as Christmas presents to them. Taking pictures at Christmas time is probably one of the best things I have done. Not to mention the GREAT foods we get to have.

My mom recently bought a present for us. You might have seen it. Elf on the Shelf?
It's actually a really cool idea and tradition! Well, she screams for me to come downstairs because she wants to read a children's story to my sister and me. Picture this, a 23 and 20 year old, sitting on the floor while being read a very corney Christmas story! My sister and I were  laughing the whole time. Mom, on the other hand, was giving us a raised eyebrow! At the end of the book you name your elf (you ACTUALLY get an elf!). We fought over this name for TWENTY minutes and by the end of it I was spurting out the most ridiculous of names I could think of. We finally agreed on Ernie... :)

I hope you like the pictures! Merry Christmas Eve to everyone! Have a great Holiday...
